A judge may prefer the use of particular forms for things like the case management report, the certificate of interested persons, and trial exhibits. Please see Judge Jenkins's preferences on forms below.
In civil cases tried before Judge Jenkins with the consent of the parties, she will set a date certain for trial. In jury trials, brief voir dire by counsel is allowed, if requested, in addition to the court's voir dire. Deadlines for pretrial submissions are set by scheduling order. In appropriate cases, the parties may file a motion to appear by telephone in non-evidentiary civil hearings except final pretrial conferences. If disputes arise during depositions in cases assigned to Judge Jenkins, the parties may call chambers at (813) 301-5777 to request a telephone conference.
