On November 16, 2023, the Judges of the Fort Myers Division and the Southwest Florida Federal Court Bar Association recognized art students from Lee, Collier, Charlotte, Hendry, and Desoto counties for their participation in an art competition. The theme of the competition was Scenes from Southwest Florida. Thirty-two outstanding entries were submitted. Following the announcement of the winners, the students took proud family photos and celebrated with an ice cream party for the judges, students, family members, and art teachers in attendance. The winning entries will be displayed in the Fort Myers Courthouse. This program was made possible thanks to the lawyers and judges of the Middle District of Florida through the Bench Bar Fund.
