The United States District Court for the Middle District of Florida will upgrade to the Next Generation of CM/ECF (NextGen) on April 5, 2021.
The NextGen system uses Central Sign-On (CSO) which allows lawyers (e-filers) to use one account across all NextGen courts (appellate, bankruptcy, and district). This means e-filers will be able to use one PACER login and password to access all NextGen courts where they have permission to file, as well as access PACER for all courts.
E-filers must complete the following steps to electronically file in NextGen CM/ECF for the Middle District of Florida:
Now through April 2, 2021:
- Obtain your own individual PACER account OR upgrade your existing PACER account.
- If you have a CJA Exempt PACER account, you must activate CJA privileges.
- Know your current Middle District of Florida CM/ECF login and password AND your current PACER login and password. You will be required to enter both to complete step 3.
On or after April 5, 2021:
- You must Link Your CM-ECF Account to PACER.
